We have jus added the Symantec Brightmail Spam Agent to our mail file so all of our users can report spam etc as the agent it is designed to do.
It works a treat in Windows. It does not work at all on the Mac as it does a number of DLL calls that are obviously not present on the Mac.
I have contacted Symantec and they have no plans to add any Mac compliant code.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and found a solution?
Note, we have another agent which does work on the Mac and Windows, but it does not comply with RFC 822 when the mail is forwarded on, so it essentially would be ignored by Symantec.
If anyone can help me with that it would be great.
