Symantec 4.1 Whitelist v. Domino Blacklist

Has anyone tried the Symantec 4.1 whiltelist feature coupled with the blacklist look ups in Domino 6.5.3?

If Symantec allows a whitelist host in will it then be blocked by the Domino mail server blacklist?

For example a gateway Domino server running Symantec 4.1 whitelists an email address and allows it in, then will the users mail server (seperate server) kick it back because it was black listed there?

depends. if symantec have hooked into the right EM event then they can bypass the blacklist checks that domino does, ie message comes in, symantec hooks the message, checks against it’s whitelist and if found sets a flag to tell domino to skip the blacklist check otherwise it does nothing and domino will do a blacklist check.
