I have a form open in Designer, focus set to anything but the QueryOpen event. I click on the Client and the designer decides that it needs to shift focus to the QueryOpen event of the form. Rather irritating when you are flipping between the client and a form design many times. Problem is also happening with pages. Seems to happen mostly when I click on an open view in the client from the same database the form is in.
Subject: Same issue - Designer client losing code focus…very annoying
If I’m working on some code on a form, say in an action button, switch to the client and then back to the Designer the focus keeps going back to the Window Title formula.
Very annoying and the cumulative amount of time lost in resetting focus back to the code I was working on over days, weeks, etc is huge!
Strongly thinking of going back to R7 client for design.
