Okay, I don’t know if I’m just completely overlooking something, but in LotusScript, how can you retrieve a sub-category value from where the view caret is currently selected?
I can retrieve the main (first level) category value by using the CaretCategory property from NotesUIView when the caret is on the main category. But when I use the same property when a sub-category (a level 2 or 3 category) is selected with the caret, it returns an empty string.
Is there any way to retrieve a sub-category value from the UI when it’s selected with the caret? Is there some workaround?
The funny thing is that you can get the NoteID of the sub-category (which is not a document), but I don’t see how that can help me at all.
