I have a user that gets a strange view of his inbox if he clicks on a column header to sort, say by date and then selects multiple documents to delete…the view will change to something that is listed below:
Not sure if you can really see that, but on the right it says index:collicon and then a number…he can easily click on a different view, say Sent, then go back to the Inbox and it will be fine. No other issues seemed to be caused by this, it’s just strange and annoying. Was wondering if anyone had seen this before?

Subject: Seeing the same issue here - NOT related to Tech Note
We are just starting out our R8.5 client roll-out and I have had 3 users report to me that they see this exact same thing.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but if they leave their In-box open while changing to other applications and/or databases and then get notified of a new message they will see a view similar to what was posted. If they click on another folder/view and return to the in-box everything is fine again.
Looking over all 3 users setups compared to mine showed one thing in common.
They all had rearranged the columns in the In-box to how they liked it.
One moved the Date column next to the Names, another moved the Attachment column over next to Subject, and another moved 3 column’s around.
I personally have not rearranged my columns and always leave my Mail file and In-box open and have not seen the issue.
Note - This isn’t the Home page, in fact all users report that the home page that has their In-box and Calendar showing still looks fine.
So far looks like a possible java refresh issue.
Subject: This happens only if the columns were rearranged. Fixed in Notes 8.5.1 and in Notes 8.5 Fix pack
Subject: Thanks…but…
Where do we find 8.5.1? Or the hot fix? I don’t see them on my passport advantage page.
Subject: Same Problem
I have the exact same problem only IBM seems clueless on the issue or a solution. Glad to see someone says its fixed in 8.5.1 or the 8.5 Hot Fix, but I don’t see that either are available for download. Does anyone know differently?
