Strange Icons

The icons for various attached files are not the typical, they are just a black square. I does not matter weather I attache or they come in a note already.

Is there a preference that determines the appearance of Icons?

btw, I am running windows 7, Notes 8.5

Thanks, but I can’t find an update to download from 8.5.1 to 8.5.2.
