Strange Client IP routing ... (Maybe a bug)

Hi,

we updated our Servers to R6. We also started the client deployment. We have an internal Cluster of 4 Servers and a Internet Cluster with 2 Servers. Now we have a strange situation that a user from a WAN location opens his client. In this case the client opens a connection to the internet cluster (!). I found that the server which the user want´s to connect to was a former “internotes” server.

The problem is that normally nobody should access the internet cluster and from a WAN-Location. The other problem is, because he opens the connection each time the user creates a mail it took up to 2 minutes because the client wan´t to acces the internet server.

Anyone has the same problem?

Maybe any Ideas?

Thank you

Check the client’s host file, and also any database icons on the old workspace - it may have something to do with the replica stacking order…

Just suggestions, nothing more in this case.
