Hello, since upgrading my client to 601CF, some strange things happens. If I want to print a doc from a view, I get two error-msgs, “You cannot quit Notes because a dialog is active. Switch to Notes Firts, close the dialog and then exit Notes.”
After clicking OK, the next msg is “Cannot create window (Insufficient Memory)”.
After that Notes is attempting to start the client above the other, already started Notes-client.
The doc is being printed, and I have to close the second Client-session.
The usage of cpu is not abnormal during this.
A bug?

The best solution for this is not to reinstall but to uncheck the option for “Process Print Requests as a Background Task” in User Preferences. Since upgrading to R6.01 we have had this problem a lot and this solution has fixed it.

Thanks Kim .This tip helped me but only after I restarted my machine.
Subject: Strange behaviour when printing with 601CF-client.
I ran into some strange problems on a Win2k SP2 machine that was upgraded from R5 to R6 then patched to CF1. I upgraded to Win2k SP3 and it was still doing strange things, so I left the PC at SP3, removed Notes entirely (including deleting the Notes Data directory), and reinstalled fresh. I’ve not had a problem since.
Subject: OK, thanks for your response.
