Start Notes Mac 8.5.2 in Basic Mode

Hi,

I have upgraded my 8.5 install of Notes Mac to 8.5.2

I’m wondering how I can start up Notes in basic mode instead of the heavy Eclipse framework based interface.

Subject: Keychain keeps asking for password

I did this but now keychain keeps asking me for “login” password everytime. Every 5-10 minutes a pop-up shows up asking for password and I can’t use notes until I enter the password

Dear IBM,

The latest version of Lotus Notes has the exact same error, if the user uses MAC OS X Yosemite or all the versions of El Capitan inc 10.11.5 they all get Keychain problems if Lotus Notes is running.

We have tried all the different Fix Packs and the latest version Lotus Notes 9.0.1 fix pack 5. The problem does not go away.

We have a Domino server and all our Windows and MAC clients connect to the server, Windows works great but it is driving the MAC users crazy. We have tried everything and the only workaround that we can offer is close Lotus Notes if you don’t need it.

Could you please fix this problem. It is frustrating and the clear cause is Lotus Notes. Resetting the keychain and other keychain solutions do not help. Other Java based applications work fine, it is a problem with IBM Lotus Notes.
