Does it compile and run???

Really, there is no ‘hard and fast’ rule that I have seen. If you are familiar with other languages (C++, C#, Java) then just apply those rules i.e methods and instance fields start with a ‘lowerCase’, Class names start with an ‘UpperCase’. Use ‘Bumpy’ style to make you names stand out like - ‘FinancialObjectValidator’ or ‘AccountingDocumentMerger’. Also, COMMENT, COMMENT, COMMENT. If you do nothing else, put your name, the date you modify and what you think the sub/function/class/formula does. If you want to be REALLY REALLY REALLY nice to the next people to come along and maintain/modify the code, put why you are doing it.

HTH,
