SSO - Domino 6.5 with Microsoft AD

Hello All,

Hope You all are fine !

I want to implement SSO b/w our Domino server 6.5 and our Microsoft AD. For that implementation i have some queries:

  1. Is it possible to implement SSO in Domino 6.5 server?

  2. We have number of Active directories in our company, Is it possible that all those AD’s user can successfully comes under the SSO environment?

  3. Does we need to upgrade those servers to 8.5 for SSO?

  4. What are the diffrent approches, by which we can implements SSO in the domino environment ?

  5. Any famous tool which can be used for that implementation?

Subject: I’m not sure you mean SSO

What it sounds like you want to do is use the AD as your directory for Domino authentication instead of the Notes directory? Would that be accurate?

Explain what you think Single Sign On means to you. Does it mean you can login to a domino website using your AD credentials, or does it mean you can login to a Domino website, then switch to an IIS website and not be prompted to login again?

Yes, you are correct. that is single sign on.

I want that My Domino users login on a domino web application without any prompting of domino user ID/password.
