Spell check in 2 different languages

Hello,

All our users are writing mail in English or in French.

The Notes clients are configured to use English as a default dictionary, and to do instant spell checking.

So, when they write a mail in French, nearly all words are seen as mistakes and underlined in red.

Is there any way to have both dictionaries enabled at the same time, so words in both languages can be seen as correct ?

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Best regards.

Subject: Ensure that the appropriate Dics are installed, use Language tagging, then

Using Language tagging, you can easily spell check multi-lingual documents. If you are using a English onyl client, only the canadian french dictionary is available.

There are differences between a Notes Standard client and a Notes Basic client and if Notes was installed as Single User or Multi user client, so i need more infos about your client config to dive deeper into details.

Subject: All DIC are installed

Thanks a lot.

We are using full English clients, the standard one, and installed as single user.

All dictionaries are installed with our packages.

Of course, language tagging is working, but the users have then to tag all mails they are writing, and they don’t want to.

My solution should be to disable to instant spell check, so doing it manually let them choose the language used, but, you know…

So, perhaps what they want to do is not possible ?

Thanks again.
