Hi,
I have been trying to figure out how to specify a different location for the FT files in Domino.
Our management wants full text indexing for everyone, but we dont have enough harddisk space for this.
I have been trying to following:
Copied one mail file to a directory called “companymail”, on a different partition.
Then created a new folder in domino/data called
“newmail”, in here is a database link to the mail folder on the other partition.
This all worked fine, i could use this mailbox without problems.
According to the Lotus support pages the FT files should be in the directory where the link is, but they are not :-(, they are with the normal mail file every time.
Can some one please help me ?
