I get that there are some character, which are not supported in File names in Windows, including \ / : * ? " < > |.
However, more common characters that people might use in file names include - _ ' ,
I can attach files in Nomad with - _ ' with no problem. When I try to attach a file with a comma, I get the following error...
Any ideas if there is a fix or workaround?

Our Inspection application is hosted by Prominic, and I don't like to ask them to install hotfixes... have had issues with them and having to roll back in the past.
I'm going to trust that the fix will work and be rolled out in a future release.

FYI - https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0106760 is the defect article which details the issue and the fixes availability (currently hot fix available). When 1.0.9 ships, the issue will be in the fixed list and linked to that defect article (KB0106760).

The issue for same has been fixed in Release 1.0.9.
To test the same, you can try to register in HCL Sandbox environment where this release is available and consists of fix for this issue.

Once registered, you will get mail with instructions on how to use this environment, how to deploy an application with minimum trouble and then test the situation etc.
I know it might not solve your purpose but can make you convince that HCL Support is ready with the fix.
Additionally, you can convince other's (your colleague or customers) that issue is fixed in upcoming release.
