99%+ of the dead mails (spam) are addressed to some non-existant user at the correct domain. e.g. our organization is abc.com… mails are coming in with all sorts of characters. An example would be %20James@abc.com. It seems like we could incorporate a rule (at server level and NOT client… e.g. mail.box) that automatically deletes mails with these illegal characters. Any ideas? Plus, we get many mails with firstname@abc.com. Our emails should be firstname.lastname@abc.com. Couldn’t we also incorporate a rule that said if no dot existed in the prefix… delete it?
