Sorting Inbox by date with dividers (like in Outlook)
Will Notes Client will ever have this feature?
Subject: I presume this is ‘Group by Date’?
- That thing M$ “email” applies to each and every new folder created, along with ten other settings, whether you want it or not?
If so, I sure hope it never does, and if Notes should ever add that, I fervently hope it never defaults to it…
Subject: Group by date eliminated in version 8.5
I believe he is referring to a very frustrating “new feature” from Lotus Notes 8.5.We had our computers in the office “upgraded” to the 8.5 version today and everybody is angry about it.
For some reason, this new version has an “enhancement” from the previous one and we cannot group by date on the inbox anymore. It was very simple. One click on the date field, we would have it ordered from the oldest to newest, another click and it would be ordered from newest to oldest, a third click would give us the messages ordered from newest to oldest and grouped by date. This third option has been removed.
I am writting here in the hope that it was not removed, but simply hidden. Please tell me I am right and there is a way to bring this third option back.
