Some buttons are missing

Hello together,

I have a strange issue on customer side.

Notesclientversion: V11.0.1 FP5 Standard

Some buttons are missing:

Here are two screenshots

First: This view is ok, buttons are visible in a fresh local copy of the users maildatabase.

Second: Buttons are missing in maildatabase directly on the server with user-id.

If I start the client as basic version, buttons are visible.

If I open the database on the server with an admin-id, buttons are visible.

Deletion of workspace folder, bookmark.nsf and cache.ndk did not solve the problem.

Any hints?

this is a new feature in Notes we also stumbled about. It seems to be a bit verse-like.

To get the old behaviour have a look at notes.ini entry "ShowAllActionsInActionBar" and e.g. here: HCL Notes und Domino 11.0.1 FP3 veröffentlicht - n-komm

What exactly do you mean with this 'behaviour'?

I mean the problem is in FP3 and still in FP5?

We have 11.0.1FP6. With the mail template at 11.0.1 there are

- no buttons with standard client 11.0.1 FP6

- buttons with basic client 11.0.1FP6 and with admin client 11.0.1FP6

To have the buttons even in standard client 11.0.1.FP6 we setup a policy that sets the notes.ini parameter ShowAllActionsInActionBar=2 and so we have the buttons as the users were used to before we changed the mail template to 11.0.1.

Hello Michael,

I have set "ShowAllActionsInActionBar=2" on one affected client and it works perfect.

Now I will plan to rollout this parameter via policy.
