Social Share Component Won't Import Into Iris

We are trying to import the Social Share HCL marketplace component for Volt Mx into Iris. First, I tried importing the component into the native iOS tablet project (PdfGenShare) that we’ve been using to mock up the PDF generate component, but the Social Share component failed to import. Next, I tried importing the Social Share component into a new (empty) native iOS mobile project (PdfSocialShare), but the Social Share component still failed to import. The same steps were taken for each attempt, as listed below:

Here is a detailed description of the steps I took to import the marketplace “Social Share” component into my project:

  1. First, I upgraded to Iris 9.5.10 (v9 sp5 fix pack 10), the latest version.
  2. Created a new native Iris project. Took all defaults (iOS, native mobile app, Form1, etc.)
  3. Imported the Social Share marketplace component, with the results as follows:
    1. Templates tab -> Components -> Import Component
    2. Browse to the downloaded component ZIP file
    3. Selected the “Replace” option on the Resolve Conflicts screen. FYI: I also tried this using the other options with the same results.
    4. This error message is displayed and the component is not imported.

FYI: I also tried removing all of the NFIs that were imported with the PDF Generator component (and maybe others as well), but I got the same error as above. This is what the NFIs screen looks like with those NFIs removed:

Hi Jarrod,

The issue is with KonySocialShare NFI version 2.0 which was supported back in the 2019 when the SocialShare asset was uploaded to the Marketplace; now the supported version of NFI is 3.0 and that is why KonySocialShare NFI needs to be updated to 3.0. We will get back to you soon for more on this.

Thanks,
Gaurab
