We are running a Domino 6.5 SMTP gateway on a W2k server. On the same server we’re runnning a proxy server (MS ISA). As a firewall we’re using FW1 v4.1 on a W2k server.
In and outgoing mail is send ok, but I’ve limited the size of attachments to 5Mb. When someone is sending mail to our domain wich exeeds the 5Mb attachment limit the mail will not be accepted, so far so good. The problem is that the sender doesn’t get an alert.
In the notes log the only thing from this occurence is:
03-12-2003 08:29:52 SMTP Server: Originator: someonesendig@domain.nl
03-12-2003 08:29:52 SMTP Server: Recipient: recipient@recdomain.nl
03-12-2003 08:30:21 SMTP Server: Message size 10404364 exceeds fixed maximum size 5218304 set by administrator

Anyone got an idea where to find / solve the problem?
