SMTP reply issue

Hi folks…

I have an issue with people sending mails into my dominodomain. When replying on that mail the address is converted into smtpaddress@DominoDomain. How do I remove the @DominoDomain ? I just want to use the SMTP address. Internal mails is OK.

It is might worth mentioning that mails are routed through another server which is in another dominodomain.

Do you guys see a solution on this one ? Hope I explained it reasonably well…

Hello Roger,

Are you utilizing a Global Domain Document? If so, have you reviewed the Conversions tab? This document allows for specification of the mail address format.

Hi Dan,

Yes, the Global Domain Document is in place. This document also contains some other domains that this server is hanling mail for, and mail from these domains works fine. And if it is the field on the domain document called “Domino domain(s) included” this field is set to None…
