Hi,
We use a Domino v6 server as SMTP mail relay system.
We need, for some mails coming in from specific subdomains, to change the sender’s domain name to their root domain name(from xxx@aaa.company.com to xxx@company.com) when relaying these mails
We don’t know if this is possible. Any ideas are welcome.
Thank you,
Eric Adams

Isn’t possible by default in Domino, you could do something with the mails once they are delivered in the mail.box database.Unfortunally you are not allowed to execute an agent in this database. So you will have to write an external tool, or use a third party tool. Which can handle the mails delivered to the mail.box.
Virusscanning programs and spam filters commonly use this technique.
