I am investigating segregating a group of users into a different internet domain. The mx record is established and I have created an new global domain document in addition to the original global domain document.
Internet mail addressed to affected_user@originaldomain.com should bounce and mail addressed to affected_user@newdomain.com should route.
Their mail file locations and their Notes names (User_CN/OU/O) remain the same. Only their internet address changes.
Is it possible to configure the SMTP routing so that originaldomain users can still recieve mail with shortname, soundex, etc. but newdomain users are restricted to exact matches on their internet name?
