Subject: SMTP inbound intenet Site
SMTP internet site is only used on inbound e-mail. It was added as part of the internet site documents . Global domain document while looking similar to the internet site document, is used for more for outbound e-mail. Global domain document provides how to format the e-mail address of each user it hosts when the person document does not have an e-mail address. And previous to R6 it was the only way to manage the inbound/outbound smtp configuration.

Its still not clear to me.As far as I know - if I want to accept messages for a particular internet domain I add it to my Global Domain Document.
Why are these documents required then? And in what case my SMTP server will stop accepting mail till I create these documents.
Currently I am accepting mail for 8-10 internet domains but does not have even a single SMTP inbound internet site document
