We started with 2 servers. Both are sending SMTP to an internal Postfix gateway.Now there is a third server as a SMTP gateway.
Foreign SMTP domain and Connection document are saved, the Mail.box of the gateway was deleted and rebuild, SMTP mailrouting is enabled (disabled on the “internal” Servers.
This config runs fine in the Lab on new Systems, but when switching from the old config, the Gateway isn’t interested in the new Parameters.
It tries to put the message in the mail.box of the destination server configured in the SMTP connection document (a unique, fictitious, placeholder name, haha). Hello Domino, SMTP Connection!
The server had not accepted, that he should do SMTP instead of notes mail.
Even when the Gateway is a testusers Mailserver.
(SMTP in Config. doc is Enabled, ports are enabled)
