SMTP and Internet Sites Documents!

Hi all,To use SSO with LTPA Token between two domino servers I configured Internet Sites Documents and Web SSO document in the servers… an activate " Load Internet configurations from Server\Internet Sites documents:" in the basics tab …

But the server used for Smtp gives me this error :

"SMTP Server: Authentication is not enabled in the SMTP Internet Site Document for mycompany "

Searching for a solution I found the fix up of Chris Linfoot :

and some other posts in the forums

But this doesn’t woek for me !

Any help please !

You have a different problem to the one documented at my site.

The problem was that the server would respond with “SMTP Server: Authentication is not enabled in the SMTP Internet Site Document for” when a client connected to it using an IP address not explicitly listed in the inbound site document. The error message was not an accurate reflaction of the underlying cause in this case.

Your problem is “SMTP Server: Authentication is not enabled in the SMTP Internet Site Document for mycompany.”

This seems to suggest that you have set the security settings for the SMTP Inbound Site document to

TCP Authentication:

Anonymous: No

You must permit anonymous connections via “TCP” (it means SMTP over TCP port 25 as opposed to SMTP over SSL using TCP port 465).

Hi all,My problem was in fact with the machine used for tests ! It’s a test server and was modified many times so there must be an error some where.

So I tried the config given by Chris on another server and it works .

Thanks for every one and I’m sorry for the disturbance !
