SMTP and Domino Server very slow

Hi,Some SMTP tasks seem having problems to stop. The command ‘tell SMTP quit’ may have effect after 20 minutes… And as long as SMTP is not stopped, our Domino server is very slow.

Any idea where searching for this problem ?

Check your server mail.boxYou may have it open to relay…

Hello,

I’ll recommend you to first stop the router task. Then, try to stop the SMTP. In the case, it is still slow, try to quit other tasks.

But 2 questions:

1° Why do you want to stop SMTP ?

2° Is your server sized to handle all the tasks/clients ?
