Smartupgrade - unable to access nnotes.dll

Hello,

I’m using smartupgrade to go from 8.0.1 to 8.0.2

The upgrade starts fine until I get the message that Notes will exit.

After some time I get the message ‘Unable to access Lotus Notes file c:\lotus\notes\nnotes.dll. Please close all Lotus applications and click OK to retry.’

This is a standard PC install with notes. No blackberry or other devices attached.

I use the RunAs feature beacuse users are no administrator of their machines.

Any idea what’s causing this?

Subject: nnotes.dll error

I recently saw someone mention that Google desktop search software can cause that error.
