I’m running a smart upgrade from 6.5.* to 6.5.5 and I have got it to work but in the Smart Upgrade Tracker some report as cancelled and the users report that they have a cancel dialog appear. But it still upgrades.
The previous upgrade to 6.5.3 worked with little problem, With this one some report as succeeded other as cancelled. I have unchecked the restart option on the kit document, this started to allow the upgrades to succeed alothough still getting equal number of ‘Cancelled’ upgrades???

We are also having the same problems with our 7.0.2 Smart Upgrades. The clients appear to upgrade even though half way through the installation, a dialog box appears stating that the upgrade has been cancelled.
The Smart Upgrade Tracking Reports database also shows that the upgrade has been cancelled…
This is not a permissions issue on the client machine as we are currently using InstallShield Tuner for Lotus Notes to package the EXE with admin level privileges.
Have you managed to get any further with this yet?

We are seeing it in our upgrade to 7.02. I believe we pushed out an INI modification that has decreased this enormously but even then we still see it. I’m not sure if this (INI modification) would work with a dot release for R6.
