Slow to Forward emails

We are finding that some emails are slow to open/forward.

The problem does not effect all emails. Generally it is an external email received, and in some cases with attachments and some with none.

I have found if I remove the tick from ‘disable embedded browser for mime mail’ the email opens normally, ie no 40 second delay.

However, I still have the problem with around a 40 second delay if I have the email open and select Forward. Or if I highlight the email in my Inbox and select Forward.

This is happening for all users in our Notes Domain.

Subject: Does running Notes in Basic Mode make a difference?

Do you see the same issue when running the Notes client in basic mode? Is the default system browser the same on the affected PCs? For example, does the problem appear when IE is the default browser but not when Chrome is set as the default?
