It would be good to allow specific people to change site text. But it looks like it’s in admin area, and no way easily to expose it to everyone. Can we add a UI or create an app where people search for text and recommend the correct translation?
We’re changing some, like “Back to Forum” is “Back to Main Site”. It would be good to have translations consistent. Alternatively, we could identify the ones overridden, and have a post per language, to get people translating. Use checkboxes, like this:
“Back to Forum”, English is now “Back to Main Site”
“Translated variable”, English is now “Translated var”
Square brackets with space = unchecked, square brackets with “x” = checked. You can check by clicking the checkbox.
