Simply Accounting integration

I was wondering if anyone has integrated Domino with Simply Accounting? I am really struggling to find information from either IBM or ACCPAC as far as possible integration points for the two applications.

My accounting knowledge is limited and my expereince with Simply Accounting almost nil. I have been able to export from Crystal Reports to Notes but this is far from an automated process and I am looking for a relatively simple solution.

I havn’t done Simple Accouting, but have with other packages such as Great Plains. I would find out if they are ODBC compliant and if so, your options are to write your own script, or use a package like lei.

Depends what you want to do exactly. Do you just want to display informtion from Simply via Lotus Notes? If so you can try using @Dblookup(“ODBC”:…).

If you need to export from Notes directly into Simply you can create an automated CSV export from notes then import directly to Simply.

Thanks for the information - I will take a look into the ODBC capabilities.

So far it doesn’t look like I will have to export from Notes.
