Hi Dev

I’m not sure at all, but I would try something like that (in the child window) :

setInterval(“myFunction(window.opener)”,1000);

where myFunction tries to get something in the opener window object, and closes the current window if it returns an error.

PS, consider I am on saturday morning, and not well awake :wink:

The child window can check the status of the parent window by using window.opener. You may need to have this check in a timer loop.

You can do it the other way aound as well. When you open a new window using window.open you get a reference to the newly opened window back. You can store this reference somewhere and check it whan you need to.
