Simple Copy and Paste Japanese words by changes font

When I do simple Copy and Paste Japanese words by changes font to "MingLiU_HKSCS" from "Default Sans Serif". This is the same either [Ctrl]+[C] and [Ctrl]+[V] or Edit>Copy, Edit>Paste

In order to get around, I have to use Paste special and select plane text. or [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[V] which makes me so annoying.

This started after I upgraded Notes client to 12.0.2 FP3 from 11.0.1 FP8.

Please advise if there is a way to fix this issue.

Unfortunately, I havenot understand the issue reported by you correctly.

Can you please elaborate like what is exactly happening?

Is it like you have Notes Client (English) 12.0.2FP3 installed with you and you try to change font from "Default Sans Serif" to "MingLiU_HKSCS" and facing some challenges with it?

OR
You are doing copy-paste of some text in font "MingLiU_HKSCS" and the facing some challenges?

Also, is the issue specific to font "MingLiU_HKSCS" or it is appearing for other fonts too?

Also, is the issue appearing while playing with fonts on japanese characters only? Is the issue reproducible with English characters as well?

No, it is not fixed yet. Unfortunately, there is no ETA when it is going to be fixed.

Good day. As this is already reported to HCL Tech this could be fixed on the future releases.
What you can do is to monitor and Subscribe on the given Article. So if the fix is already shipped you can be notify.
