I’m making a database where different kind of reports are made and stored. These reports has to be signed by from 2 up to 10 people before they are approved and I want the creator of the document to be able to select which users that are going to sign it.
I’ve made the sections “editable” for the creator of the document to choose users freely for the different sections. Unfortunately, when the document is first saved the creator signs all the sections since the section access formula (SAF from now on) is only computed at open, thus giving him/her rights to sign all the sections. If I leave the SAF empty, all users, including the creator, are able to sign the document. I could set a “[RoleThatNo1Uses]” in the SAF but I doubt that’s the right/best solution for this.
If anyone knows a better solution to prevent the creator of the document to sign certain sections please share it with me. =)
