A new present today,
one of our users has the problem that she has enabled her signature, the signature is shown, but now and then the signature is not shown.
Doesn’t matter if she writes a new mail or replies to a mail…
I checked her client but as far as I can check everything is ok with her signature.
On the server I ran a mailfixup, just for checking the mailbox, but this didnt solve the problem.
any thoughts?

If running an 8.5.1 Mail Template set this Notes.ini: $SignatureOptionEnabled=1
Then open the users Mail Preferences. You should see the dialog in screenshot below on the signatures tab (you may have to scroll to see all the options).
On the dialog make sure the auto append option is set and then check to see the type of signature you would like to append matches the signature type you expect to get appended. In the screenshot below the Rich Text Signature (which has data) will get appended. If I chose “Plain Text” or “HMTL or Image File” I would get no signature when I compose an e-mail.
Also note, that if she is using the “HMTL or Image File” option and she switches to a different computer that computer must have the file in the same path as specified in preferences.
Subject: User has only plain text, problem still exists
The user only uses plain text in her email;
"Greetings,
her name
her title
Company name
Address
Phonenumber
Faxnumber
Email => is this still plain text? (issue@company.com)
Website => is this still plain text? (www.something.com)"
In my opinion this is plain text and the settings are set as shown in Murray Hurvitz’s post.
Might the signature rich text have hide formulas associated with it? => No formulas
Anything else unusual about it? => I guess not
Does it have any actual text or is it just an embedded bitmap? => plain text, no bitmap
Does it reference an image that’s stored in another database, etc? => No images
Subject: re: NYSINYD signature
Fixup is irrelevant. What’s important is the information stored in the profile document.
