Doesn’t seem to be lots of people using shared mail. I know people have had issues with it in older versions but we have heard that is much better than it used to be. Anybody have experience with it? Is it stable and worth using in 6.5.5?

Shared mail was much improved in 6.0 and has been completely stable since about the time 6.5 was released. It’s definitely worth using if your users are boneheads who keep sending the same attachment around.

Consider that user’s search in mail database does not search in shared mail dbs.
I delete shared mail where I was using it.
