There are a few threads about this but I can’t find a definiative answer.
We are thinking of upgrading to 6.5 from 5.0.11 and one of the tings we are looking at is implementing Shared Mail.
We have 2 servers in a cluster, the second server is only used in the event of a failover. Mail and applicatioons are clustered. How would the shared mail db work - does this need to be clustered? I am ware of strict security on the shared db.
Users in the event of a failover will need to access the shared db on the second server.
Is this possible.
