I have 3 users installed lotus notes client on their pc with their own ID. Now i have another ID file created and i want to share out this account to these 3 persons. I don’t want to put the ID file on their pc and have them switching it. Is there any better way to do it?

If you are paying for three CALs, then I suppose that sharing one ID amongst three users isn’t actually piracy, but it certainly isn’t remotely the way that Notes/Domino security is “supposed” to be used. As others have already posted, if we knew why you wanted to do this, we would probably be able to recommend a more secure, easier-to-manage, and user-friendly way.

Why don’t you want to give them all a copy ?
I can’t think of another way of doing that.

What are these people going to share, a mail database? Or other applications? Instead of giving the 3 the ID or access to the ID over a network share, perhaps you should look at an ACL setting.
