It is very good to turn on reverse dns lookup to stop spams. But usually 1 or 2 or 3 people do not have their reverse dns setup and they are the valid senders.one idea is the setup a local dns server and add these ip in, so make the lookup 1st to the local dns server then to the internet dns servers.
I aslo read about using hosts file to specify these exception ips.
Any one has tried either way? please help with your ways, I think I have to turn on reverse dns lookup, because black list is just not enough, the spammers are smarter now, they put a jpeg file with their porn contents, and put a link on the picture to go to their site, there is no way for domino to scan the html contents.
But these email usually does not pass the reverse dns test.
Pleaes help me to fight these smarter spammers.
