hi

i want to set a fields value after another field value has been chosen!

so i did it with if and it reades the value from the field and now i dont know how to insert into the field! Error ocurs!

It is a regular text field

Hi.

This might help you. This code lets the user select an item, the item’s name is displayed in the combo box (as usual) and also listed in a dynamically built table.

In the table I need the item’s name, the producer (herst) and the price label (label). label and herst are attributes to the option tag.

Later in the HTML file I use PHP functions to fill a list with label and herst

Additional information. My form’s name is “theForm”. The JavaScript is called every time the user changes values in the ComboBox.

Do u want to enter(edit) text into the field?
