Just a few notes for anyone upgrading their servers. While we are not experts, what we have experienced may save some of you a few hours/days in the process.
Make sure that in the location document of all clients under the MAIL tab, that the format for outbound messages is set to MIME.
To save time during the bulk nupdall process, remove all dbs that have full text indexes from the data directory. While some dbs originally with fti update successfully, some don’t (the index may even be recreated even if you deleted it first), and you could add precious hours to your upgrade before you realise what is going on.
