hi!@pls. help me. we have lotus notes server installed in Goa. 100mBps leased line. and we have other branches at Kochi, Mumbai and Waltair they r also accessing our server via WAN.
we have intranet site from where people put aindents electronicalyy.
server behaves nicely at Goa and waltair but not working at Mumbai and Kochi. i.e if people from kochi and Mumbai try to put indents then it takes long time to submit it sometimes error also.
i think we have to increase some spped in adminstrator.

Hi everybody.I have the same problem.
I have installed a Windows 2003 with LotusDomino 653FP1 w/ LPack in Spanish on X-Series 346 w/ 200 users using Domino Web Access (inotes6.ntf template)
Sometimes happen that the users of all the branches lost connection with the Server mail, however the users of headquarter don´t have this problem, and they can follow working w/ their mail. So that the users of branch can connect again to mail I have to restart completely the server including Windows, because restarting only Domino not resolve this problem.
My server is behind a Cisco PIX. I don´t know if this device can affect to SMTP of Domino or anything other services related to Domino.
Please can anyone help me.

We have the same problem.
This is not a soloution but i will temporarly make your down time less painfull. We discovered when the client lose connection
to the server, disable/enable network adapter on the server and the client can connect again.
This works for us during the working hours!!

I have the same problem.I have tried upgrading to 6.5.4. Reinstalling the complete server from OS… changed hardware. Nothing works.
Have anyone come closer to a solution?
