Server rules: not able to have them working :-(

Hi all,

I have just set up the following rule atserver side:

“When any attachment name contains SSS OR any attachment name contains sss don’t deliver message - send NDR full”

the problem is that if I send a “test.sss” attachment for example using OutlookExpress, the message is delivered to my inbox and no NDR is created.

Where I’m wrong ?

(Using 6.0.1CF1 English Domino server).

Have you tried restarting the router task on the server? Restarting the server would be another option, but generally just restarting the router will force it to pick up the mail rules.

I also tried to restart the whole machine.The router says it has picked up a rule but it don’t apply it.

Finally support did the trick:

it’s enought to disable and then enable again each rule if you make any modification to them.

After issuing again the “set rules” console parameter everything is fine.
