Server Error : You are not authorized to use the server

Hi,

One of the user is getting above said error while replicating, user is in a group and rest of members in the group doesn’t have any problems while replicating.

Suggestions will help me a lot.

Did search in the forum but unfortunately I could draw any relevant information.

Check that this user isn’t in the Terminations group this will usually cause the above error. Regards Lee

I checked out in server document, that field is blank.

Is there somewhere else do it need to check for terminations?

I think what Lee means is to check the “Deny Access Group” in the names.nsf.

This is a group that is no visible in the Groups view. Look at the bottom of the left hand side and there will be “DENY ACCESS GROUPS”.

Hi Guys,

thank you so much for your responses,

group contains around 10 users, problem is with only one user.

Other users in the group are able to replicate with out any problem.

The Deny Access Group contains the users that are no longer authorized to access your server (e.g. terminated users). You can safely remove the user who can’t access from this group and see if it works after a server restart.Not sure why other denied users can access your server!
