I upgraded my Domino Mail Server from 6.0.2CF1 → 6.0.3 about a week ago.
Last evening I had my first apparent crash. Due to the time of day, there wasn’t much happening. The Server had recently completed its 3:00 AM Compact process. Here are the log entries:
03:08:14 AM Database compactor process shutdown
03:10:52 AM Router: Transferred 1 messages to USA.IBS.ORG via SMTP
03:10:54 AM Opened session for USER (Release 6.0.2)
03:11:03 AM Closed session for USER
03:18:01 AM 0001917E: Quoted-Printable: Unexpected end of data
Upon Restart …
03:26:16 AM Fault Recovery Notification: Server was restarted after a fault on 03:23:16 AM
The “Self-Healing” server worked well. It restarted itself and I may not have suspected anything if I had not received the “Server Restart Notification” E-Mail.
I do not have Console Logging enabled at this time. The server has not been unstable before or since.
Is that “Quoted-Printable” error a clue, or do I need to investigate elsewhere. (There’s not much else to go on.)
