Server console messages

Recently upgraded from Domino 7.0.2 to Domino 8.0.2

Everything went well, but I have a couple of server console messages (also seen in Notes Log) that I’m hoping someone can explain.

The first is a message that flashes each time that I start my Domino server:

“09/09/2008 01:26:39 AM 104 duplicate PUIDs found while initializing Domino Domain Monitoring”

Does anybody know what a PUID is and what I need to do to get rid of duplicates?

The second message repeats over and over for all of my mail files (on a Domino 8.0.2 server but still using DWA 7.0.2 mail design):

“09/09/2008 01:27:42 AM Database note open error: NT00001206 document in database D:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\myusers.nsf opened by CN=MyServer/O=MyDomain: Attempt to perform folder operation on non-folder note”

All 7.0.2 mail functionality seems to be working; but I’d really like to know what this error message is telling me.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Subject: Run this command for the duplicate PUIDs

A PUID is a probe unique ID. You can delete the duplicates by running “tell event delduppuids”.

The second problem has been seen when running a version of Blackberry that is not compatible with Domino 8.

Subject: Thanks

Thanks Chad. PUID issue has been resolved and I’m upgrading our BES server to the latest version later this month.
