Sending messages accross Domino Domain using SMTP?

Is it possibly to use SMTP when sending messages accross Domino Domain? I can use SMTP within local domain and to internett. I can also use SMTP if the other domain is abc.com (internet domain type), but not if it is ACB. I want to send using “old domain name type” as ABC. The router will only send using notes NRPC. Has anybody mananed to use SMTP for this type of communication?Rgds Kjell

sure you can ! Look on the Messaging Configuration Document of your Server under “Messaging Settings” → " Basic" → “SMTP allowed within the local internet domain:”

Hi ChrisI have this turned on to “All messages”, but as fare as I understand this, it only allowed within the “local internet domain”. All messages in the same Notes domen use SMTP, but I would like to use SMTP to other Notes Domain. I have not managed to get the router to use SMTP for that.
