Sender address rejected: Domain not found

Is anybody here, who can help me ?

Outbound mail to @maildomain.com returns this

message: Sender address rejected: Domain not found.

Telnet maildomain.com 25 works fine and mails from other domains to @maildomain.com are delivered.

MTU is set to 1000 in registry.

I’m going crazy, is it maybe our problem ?

All other mail routing is working, only to @maildomain.com.

Has anybody a idea to solve this ? Maybe some

work around … ?

Thanks a lot.

have you got excerpts from the server logs, where you can see how far the mail route goes…

ie are you seeing the server try to connect to the destination host? - ie is it doing a correct DNS lookup for the mx entry…

or

if that is the case, and it is connecting, could it be a rejection at the other end, perhaps to do with blacklists.?

I think more info is needed to get further…

It’s crazy. Since last night all messages are delivered. And I don’t know why…
