This is my first post, hopefully it is in the right area I don’t see any sub groups… The problem I have is on the heavier users that get 300+ emails a day and anywhere from 30 - 200 emails downloading at once they get the Send/Receive error on occasion. I found that by increasing the “Server Timeouts” in Outlook it decreased how often they got the error. The default is 1 minute, I have one person set at 2:30 minutes.
I have archiving set pretty heavy because it seems to help keeping less mail in the Inbox in Outlook. I have Compact set to run in Domino.
This can’t be some weird limitation of the software, how do large companies operate than? I only have about 70 mail users.
Is the issue with my mail server? It is a little over 7 years old now and running on Domino 8.01.
I also have various cell phones and iPads with the company email account on them.
Any help would be appreciated.
