Searched this forum with no exact problem or resolution listed.
Problem is with standard Notes search (via the Search Bar in a view, utilizing the “Simple” search - without using the “More” search options) using a categorized view in the Notes Client. When searching for some words (for example “dream” or “wanting”), the view shows ALL documents, and displays “No matching documents were found.” in the status bar. Whereas other searches correctly shows ZERO documents in the view (and the status bar correctly indicates such).
Question: is this a bug or feature and has anyone determined a workaround ?

Database is Indexed (Case Sensitivity: OFF, Index Breaks: Words Only, Index Attachments: ON, Index Encrypted Fields: ON) and
Notes Client version 6.5.1, Domino server version 6.5. Domino server is running on the iSeries.
